- Finding Your Way Onto the Path -
Many folks are just waking up in a Spiritual sense. In fact, a number of folks that never had any psychic experiences are now confused, scared, and don't know where to turn to to find help...to find an explanation. It's even harder for some folks that didn't have any belief or faith in the here after. All of sudden they are seeing and hearing stuff that doesn't fit their model of the world.
Many folks like myself had a wake call after 9/11. For myself, I had practiced meditation in the late sixties and studied various religions in my twenties. I was trying to understand my connection to Divine source, the creator,...I'll let you fill in the name that suits your concept of the intelligence that runs the Universe. But, instead of turning inward, instead of following a path of ascension, I got caught up a day to day existence.I was working the 9 to 5 engineering job, married and raising two kids and was caught up with what our government has coined the American dream.
Before 9/11 I was traveling around the globe to consult and work with various Customers. After 9/11 I was lost, depressed, and turned inward again.
This time I returned to meditation, Asian energy work, and holistic healing. While I still work as a consultant on software development and testing, I new life began to emerge. I life of helping others wake up. For some of my friends they turned to Yoga as the five fold path, others follow the way of the Zen and of mindfulness (aka Thich Nhat Hanh), some follow the way of the warrior via martial arts and discover the way of the Tao. I touched upon all of these directions over the years, but in recent times I've been working with the way of the Shaman.
I found the Shamanic training good in discovering the lower vibrational aspects of self. Some would call these the negative or lower emotional aspects of a person, but that polarizes them. There is no right or wrong, no good or bad, there just is. Just as there is no right or wrong path. The path that brings you Joy. The path allows you to discover and accept all your habits and emotional aspects without judgment is the right path.
