This is my reference book when I teach Qigong. It is rich with techniques, emotional centering, circulation techniques and clearing techniques.

Title: Qigong Empowerment - A guide to Medical, Taoist, Buddhist, Wushu cultivation
Author: Master Shou-Yu Liang and Wen-Ching Wu, 1997
Publisher: The Way of the Dragon Publishing
ISBN: 1-889659-02-9
Comments:
This book is very comprehensive and covers four different domains of Qigong practice. The hand mudras for practicing Qigong is the first I've seen in Qigong manuals.
Although Mantak uses some mudras to open the palm chakras which is very good too.

This book is interesting to those who have a mind that likes to scientific proof. There are some interesting experients and observations by Dr. Yayama. He even has a Qi tool for increasing the sense of Qi flow. The most interesting part of his work is in integrating various concepts together.
